The course has been included in the list of courses for CEF reimbursement. Upon successful completion of course, eligible applicants will be reimbursed 80% of their course fee, subject to a maximum sum of HK$10,000.
Project Management is the discipline of organizing and managing resources in such a way that the project is completed within defined scope, quality, time and cost constraints. To be a performing project manager, formal training is essential.
The course is designed for students to grasp detailed knowledge on project management; it also serves as a preparation course for students who sit for the Project Management Professional (PMP®) examination and / or the PRINCE2 Foundation examination.
As we have four project management classes running weekly, students may re-sit our lessons if they miss any classes or as revision for the preparation of public examination (Subjected to the number of our vacancy seats).
考試範圍及內容:
PMP® Section:
PMBOK內的項目管理的工作可以分成五個組別 (Initiating, Planning, Executing, Controlling and Closing) 及9個知識範疇 (Integration, Scope, Time, Cost, Quality, Communication, Human Resources, Risk and Procurement) ， 共有44個專門項目管理的工作。
The course fulfills the requirement for 35 hours of Professional Project Management Education. (Please refer to page 8 of the PMP® Handbook, we are type D of the mentioned education providers.)
Based on PMP® candidate's experience, they found difficulties in preparing their Experience Verification and the details for PMP® application. This course includes a section especially on application process, we provide full guidance on the application process to help students to sit for the exam right after the training.
PRINCE2 Section:
PRINCE (Projects IN Controlled Environments) provides a framework for effective management of any size or type of project. This standard method is not only used in UK Government Departments, but also in the private sectors. This method has also been adopted by a number of overseas Governments and multi-national companies or integrated within their existing project management approaches.
